J. Crew No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Deck Stripe

Hi Everyone!

I received the J. Crew No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Deck Stripe in Coastline Blue earlier today.  Initially, I was concerned that the stripes would make my bottom half look bigger, but I don't think so now.  Here are a few IRL pictures:

What do you think of the J. Crew No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Deck Stripe?  Do tell!

p.s.  I have a review of the J. Crew Bubble Necklace in Neon Azalea and the White Schoolboy Blazer in Linen scheduled for tomorrow.  I will review the No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Porcelain Paisley when it arrives Wednesday.

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Ohh Rynetta I love that skirt!! How would it look with the anchor sequin tank?? I have to keep both pieces in mind. No Anchor necklace for me yet, can't seem to find it, but not giving up!! Can't wait for your bubble necklace review!

    1. MB: me too! The stripes are super fun! OOOOO, great idea about pairing this skirt with the Anchor Sequin Tank. I'm headed to my closet to pair the two items now! I will check my retail store for the Anchor necklace....fingers crossed! The Bubble Necklace review is set for first thing in the morning.

  3. For months I was looking for a striped skirt but they were either striped funky or wrong for what I was seeking (weird colors, in zigzags, too thick, graduated instead of evenly spaced) or the wrong shape (too short, too full or both).

I believe this might be the skirt I've been looking for!

    1. tiffany rose: Yay! This is really a great skirt. I was initially concerned that the stripes would add weight to my bottom half, but something about the distribution of stripes helps to avoid that. I love the skirt!
