Thomas Mason for J. Crew Ruffle Skirt in Gingham

Hi Everyone!

The Thomas Mason for J. Crew Ruffle Skirt in Gingham was at the top of my must-have list from the most recent rollout!  This skirt does not disappoint IRL!  And, I love the way that it is styled a bit casually on the website.

Here is an IRL picture of the skirt:

I sized up one size in this skirt.  I love the fit and the ruffle detail.  This is one of those fun skirts that can be styled casually with a graphic tee such as the J. Crew Bermuda Garment-Dyed T-Shirt or that can be dressed up for work.  And, it's a very unique skirt in my opinion.  The skirt is great quality.  I highly recommend this fab piece!

And, of course, I totally copied this amazing look from the J. Crew website:

I love the idea of wearing gingham on gingham!  And, I would totally pair this skirt with the J. Crew Elsie Slingback Gingham Pumps if I could wear heels!  I tried the skirt with the J. Crew Slingback Flats in Gingham, but the flats made the outfit look too frumpy.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. This is definitely a special skirt and looks really great on you. I'm looking forward to seeing all the ways you style it. Thanks for the sizing info.

    1. maryeb: thank you SO much!!!! I agree, this is a special/unique piece. I will be wearing it over and over again!

I really appreciate you being here!

  2. It's sold out! I really wanted to buy it after seeing it on you. You always look fabulous!

  3. first off...thank you for all the reviews and pics you post.
we are pretty much the same size (give or take certain items..I notice you wear your skirts a little higher than I might) but you look fab in all of them...if you ever do a closet clean out I would love a crack at buying some of your J Crew items. again thank you for being such a generous blogger !!!! 4. I ended up returning this skirt. It ran a bit small so I would say size up but that wasn't the deal breaker. IRL I found the ruffle way too limp and fussy. I couldn't get it to look like the JCrew stock photo at all.
