Saturday Skirt Shopping!

Hi Everyone!

If you've followed my blog for awhile, you know that I LOVE a cute skirt!  I am a huge sucker for an adorable, bold, and fun print.  And, I love pencil skirts!  There is something about a fun skirt that can be dressed up or down that is so appealing.  Lately, I have been drawn to bright, feminine, and flirty prints, and of course, gingham!  I'm super excited about the most recent new arrivals at J. Crew feature lots of gingham, which is right up my alley!  I am also loving several new bold print skirts at Anthropologie.

Here are a few IRL pictures of my recent faves:

This gorgeous skirt is the ultimate winner.  The print is SO unique and fun.  Fit is slightly big.  I'm wearing a size 12, and I normally wear a size 14/16 depending on the cut of the skirt.  This skirt has a side zipper, but it also an elastic waistband in the back.  I highly recommend this beautiful skirt; the design is perfect for pattern mixing!

I also love this gorgeous gingham skirt!  The embroidered hem adds an extra special touch!  I wanted to pair this skirt with a basic white t-shirt to make the details on the hem pop.  And, as always, I love pairing a fun skirt with a classic denim jacket!  Fit is TTS!

These shoes are incredible, too! The heel height is perfect and they're super comfy out of the box. Fit is TTS:

And, here are a few of my other current favorite skirts:

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Do you think the skirt fits TTS for Madwell whichI assume is cut smaller as brand generally geared towards women younger than myself. Thanks. You look fab in both skirts, great purchases. Also love the way you styled both skirts. I ever tried on the Anthro. skirt as I was afraid as a size 16 I would look huge in it given the size of the pattern in the fabric

  2. Hi there! The skirt does fit TTS for Madewell, but it also sits higher on the waist. And, the skirt is fully lined. I think that you should try the Anthro skirt because it’s SO flattering. I’m a size 14/16 on the bottom and I think that skirt looks great!

    Have an amazing Sunday!

    1. Nancy, you're super sweet! I genuinely appreciate the compliment. I absolutely love both skirts. Please let me know if you try the Anthro skirt. The elastic waistband makes it a bit of a generous fit.

      Have a great Monday!

  4. I was hoping that you would review the gingham Madewell skirt. It is adorable and has a beautiful trim at the hemline. I love it with the denim jacket. How appropriate for a fun summer print. I also have the red and white striped shirt and you made me realize that I need to resurrect it for the warmer weather. Thank you again for your reviews and your fantastic blog.
